If the name “Kooman” sounds familiar, it should. The Kooman boys have been serving up fine films for a couple of years now and working hard to bring the story of Christ into arenas of dramatic storytelling.

Andrew Kooman has a play in Nextfest this coming June that you may want to check out. Here are the details;

What: Shelter. A play about two families, an affair, potatoes, poverty in alberta, and grace.
When: 8 June, 2-3 PM
Where: The Sugarbowl on 124 Street.

Just came across this article from “One News Now” on the state of Drama in the Church. While it is interesting to hear some real life examples of what is going on, it did all feel fairly traditional to me. Perhaps I’m just too cynical? (more…)
